The Sapores Supreme Marinator Set Materials, Design & Accessories
If you are looking for an elegant design and high material quality in your new meat injector, you are sure to love the look and feel of The Sapores Supreme Marinator Set. All the elements of the set are primarily made of food-grade 304 and 430 stainless steel and the plastic parts of the brushes are 100% BPA-free. The injector is ergonomically designed and boasts a large capacity. The needles are sharp and do not break easily.
The set includes 1 meat injector, 3 needles, 2 cleaning brushes, 3 large spare o-rings, 3 small spare o-rings, 1 storing pouch, and 1 The Sapores World Marinade e-book. The needles you get in the package include one 6-inch slanted open tip needle, one 6-inch 12-hole needle, and one 4-inch precision needle.
The only potential issue with this set lies in occasional variations in craftsmanship quality. While the majority of users report having no problems with the set, some of them do mention leakages and needle issues. Namely, it seems that sometimes the base above the needle is not properly sealed and several users reported receiving a 6-hole instead of a 12-hole needle. Although we did not observe such flaws ourselves, we issue this warning, so you could reach out to the seller or manufacturer in case you encounter similar issues.
The Sapores Supreme Marinator Set Performance
The Sapores Supreme Marinator Set offers just what is expected from a good meat injector and that is deep penetration and even dispersion. It can be used with nearly all types of marinades, with some exceptions.
The 12-hole needle is great for liquid-only marinades and large cuts and you can use the precision needle for liquid-only flavoring solutions and thinner cuts like chops and steaks or chicken thighs. The needle with a slanted open tip is great for large cuts and marinades that contain fine herbs and spices. You can add some minced garlic or onion to your marinade, but only if you do not leave any larger chunks and make sure that the marinade is not too thick. Otherwise, the needle may clog. However, it is important to note that this is the case with the majority of injectors on the market.
The maximum penetration depth of 6 inches is enough for virtually all purposes. The 2-ounce capacity allows you to infuse 2+ pounds of meat with the marinade of your choice before it is time to refill the barrel. The injector is versatile and can be used for domestic and game meat, small cuts or a whole turkey, fish, and even doughnuts, cupcakes, and other cream-filled desserts.
It is also nice to know that the injector is perfectly beginner-friendly, as you only need to remember a couple of easy steps to use it successfully. First, you should install the slanted open tip needle and dip the needle’s tip into the marinade. Pull on the plunger to fill the barrel. Remove the tip from the marinade and insert the needle into the meat. Push the plunger slowly as you gradually remove the needle. A possible extra step includes replacing the slanted open tip needle with one of the 2 remaining needles after the barrel is filled.
The Sapores Supreme Marinator Set Maintenance
Now that you know how to use the injector, it is time to focus on maintenance. As we mentioned previously in this The Sapores Supreme Marinator Set review, the set is dishwasher-safe. Thus, you can just disassemble it and place all the parts in the dishwasher after use.
However, if you want to extend the lifespan of the set, you can hand-wash all elements in warm water and soap and dry them thoroughly before reassembling. To properly clean the needles, always use the brushes provided in the package. The entire clean-and-dry process should take up to 5 minutes.
Regardless of how you choose to clean the set, it is important to remember to keep the injector oiled up. After cleaning, just coat the o-rings with vegetable oil. This ensures the optimal functioning of the plunger, which in turn minimizes the amount of pressure you need to apply during use.
