Weston Meat Tenderizer Materials & Design

First of all, Weston Meat Tenderizer features 31 stainless steel blades designed to effortlessly slice even through the toughest portions of the meat. The stainless steel combs prevent the meat from getting caught around the blades. Having said that, the shut can only take cuts that are up to 1.25-inch thick. It is recommended that you always wear protective cut-resistant gloves when handling the blade assembly.

The two-part construction is made of cast aluminum with a special food-grade coating for extra safety and durability. The two-leg design provides increased stability and the heavy-duty base prevents the tool from sliding and wobbling during the tenderizing process. The solid hand-crank feels pretty comfortable and allows you to tenderize large batches of meat at once without too many difficulties.

Weston Meat Tenderizer is 13.7 inches tall and weighs around 10 pounds, which is a considerable weight for such a slim tool. It comes with two stainless steel combs that prevent jamming, two C-clamps used to mount the tool to your table or countertop, and stainless steel tongs for safer use.

Weston meat tenderizer comes with two table clamps to secure it to the work surface, as well as two combs that help prevent jamming.

Weston Meat Tenderizer Ease Of Use & Maintenance

Weston Meat Tenderizer is easy to use, which makes it an ideal choice for inexperienced users. All you have to do is secure the base of the tool to your work surface with the provided C-clamps and make sure you leave enough space for the hand-crank to rotate freely. Never use the tenderizer without the provided anti-jamming combs.

As we already mentioned in this Weston Meat Tenderizer review, the cuts can be 1.25-inch thick or less. Feeding thicker meat cuts into the chute can damage the blades. Make sure to remove all hard items and bones from the meat before tenderizing or cubing, as the blades are not designed to handle bones.

Always insert the meat into the chute with the provided stainless steel tongs for optimal safety. Moreover, never allow the tongs to actually touch the blades. Do not force the meat into the blades, as it will be pulled in automatically as you turn the hand-crank. For optimal results, you might need to pass the meat through the tenderizer a couple of times. You may also want to pass it at different angles, depending on your personal preference.

Although Amazon sellers describe this product as dishwasher-safe, the official Weston User Manual suggests washing all the components by hand in soapy water. The construction is easy to disassemble, so each component can be cleaned separately. After washing all the components thoroughly, dry them immediately to avoid any potential corrosion buildup or discoloration. You should also coat all the components with food-grade silicone for extra protection.

Designed to handle the toughest cuts of meat, Weston meat tenderizer is a true time saver when it comes to preparing steaks.

Weston Meat Tenderizer Performance & Versatility

Weston Meat Tenderizer is an ideal tool for tenderizing even the toughest cuts of meat. It produces thin and tender pieces of meat that you can turn into delicious schnitzels, cubed steaks, chicken-fried steaks, and other delights. It can work on all types of meat as long as you follow the instructions regarding the maximum thickness. If you purchase the jerky slicer blades (sold separately), you can also turn this machine into a dedicated jerky slicing tool.
